Fabric Fire Gard
Interior furnishings are the number one contributing factor to
the swift spread of fire and smoke within a home. In most cases, it is the
toxic smoke that kills the occupants, not the fire itself. Interior
furnishings also contribute to the phenomenon known as
"flashover", in which the fire gases within a structure become
superheated, causing everything within the vicinity of the fire to explode
into flames. No-Burn® Fabric Fire Gard is a clear, non-toxic and odorless
liquid, developed to help alleviate this problem. This non-toxic,
non-carcinogenic and environmentally safe fire retardant is applied
directly to furniture fabrics and other interior furnishings. Not only can
Fabric Fire Gard slow down the fire, but in many cases it will not allow
interior furnishings to catch fire. Fabric Fire Gard can also be applied
to stuffed toys, crafts, clothing, holiday decorations, costumes,
potholders and many other household items such as a treated kitchen fire
towel."
